Help Fill Clean Up Buckets for Disaster Relief
2/17/25, 8:00 PM
Our children’s and family mission action group, Hearts and Hands, will pack 25 Clean Up Buckets on February 18th and deliver them to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance so that supplies will be ready to respond to the next disaster.
Clean Up Buckets provide a trove of essential clean up supplies following any disaster, whether the crisis stems from a hurricane, flood, tornado or fire. Stocked with gloves, sponges, brushes and cleaning soap, these buckets enable families and volunteer responders to get to work cleaning up a home and restoring life to normal. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance distributed more than 7000 Clean Up Buckets following Hurricane Helene and Milton in the fall of 2024, depleting much of the supply of these essential disaster supplies.
We are asking the entire congregation to participate by contributing items for the buckets. Please pick out your contribution using the link below and deliver them to the collection area outside the Church Offices at First Pres by Monday, February 17. Cash contributions to offset shipping and processing fees are welcome: mark your check Clean Up Buckets.
