Reel Reflection: Screening and Discussion of Amadeus

Join us for a special two-part event featuring the critically acclaimed film Amadeus and an engaging discussion exploring the profound theological and moral questions it raises. This cinematic masterpiece delves into the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through the eyes of his rival, Antonio Salieri, and examines themes such as envy, divine justice, human pride, and the mysterious workings of God’s will.

The screening will take place on Friday, February 7, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with popcorn and movie snacks, followed by a discussion on Saturday, February 8, from 9:00am to 11:00am with coffee cake and coffee. Both events will be held in Agape Classroom.

Explore key questions such as: What does it mean to be good? Is there grace for those who struggle with envy or bitterness? How do we reconcile God's sovereignty with human suffering?
