This special evening will feature the premiere of our short documentary telling the story of the Western North Carolina Mission Recovery Project. In May, First Pres Charlottesville and University Presbyterian Church Chapel Hill sent more than 30 volunteers to Old Fort, NC, to help build a new home for Ryan and Deena Edwards, who lost theirs in the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

The film shares the Edwards family’s story and highlights how our church family worked together to help restore hope, dignity, and a safe home.

We’ll gather to enjoy a full taco bar and dessert while we watch the documentary.
