Jack’s connection to First Pres runs deep—he was baptized here and grew up active in our Sunday School, confirmation, and youth group programs. A Charlottesville native and 2024 graduate of the University of Virginia, Jack is excited to give back to the church that has shaped so much of his life.

He currently works at S&P Global and brings a passion for building community and walking alongside youth in their faith journeys. When he's not working or at church, you might find him on the golf course, checking out a new Charlottesville restaurant, or hiking with his dog.

Jack is the son of longtime members John and Cathy Meaney and the brother of Becca Meaney. He’s eager to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones as he steps into this role.
