Lynn and Jef (James) Ferguson moved to Charlottesville from California in 1987 along with their 3 sons. The family joined First Prez in 1989 largely due to friendships with Mark and Peter Sloop, sons of Anne and Frank Sloop, and because the Scottish influence in the Presbyterian church appealed to Jef. Lynn and Jef moved to Lexington, KY in 2001, but were fortunate to be able to return to First Prez in 2009.

God is everywhere and I continue to watch for the opening of “windows of opportunity “to serve God. I count serving as an Elder as an opportunity and I look forward to meeting other session members and contributing to the life of FirstPres.
